Why Business & Marketing Matters
Building a great website is only part of the picture. Without a clear strategy behind it — knowing your audience, understanding how to reach them, and having the right tools in place — even the most beautifully designed site can struggle to deliver results. That’s a lesson I’ve learned first-hand, across my own projects and through supporting clients with theirs.
Conversely, you may have a business & marketing strategy but it does not provide for the benefits of having a fit-for-purpose website available for your target audience.
The Business Behind the Website
My background isn’t just in web design — with a career history as a CIMA Qualified Accountant and experience as both a business partner and supporting business start-ups, I’ve always had one eye on the commercial side of things. At BlueMoonCreative.Services, I bring that broader perspective to the table, which means thinking beyond aesthetics and considering what a website actually needs to achieve for a business.
Learning Along the Way
Even with experience, not everything I’ve tried has worked — and that’s exactly the kind of thing worth sharing. Whether it’s a marketing strategy that delivered unexpected results, a tool that didn’t live up to its billing, or a simple tweak that made a genuine difference to audience engagement, articles will be about honest, practical insight rather than textbook theory (although there will be some of that thrown in for good measure, if I know it works!).
